Meet Ed Pullen
Ed’s first career was in aviation. He soloed at age 16, worked his way through to commercial pilot, and at age 22 was hired as a co-pilot by Piedmont Airlines. A native North Carolinian, the airline job eventually brought him to the Cape Fear Region. After 25 years of service with [Peidmont], he took early retirement. In November of 1988 Ed and several like minded neighbors organized and opened a “Food Pantry” for the needy in the Hampstead area, an effort which the Hampstead Lion’s Club awarded him the honor of man of the year, 2003/04.
In 1994, he realized that he had too much “spare” time, so he started his second career, real estate. Aviation had taught Ed that training was essential to success and survival. He has earned a Brokers License, GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute), which only 10 percent of realtors have achieved, and an ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative).
In his first year Ed was selected “Rookie of the Year”. With that particular world-wide company, Ed became distinguished as one of the top 100 agents in the two Carolina’s Region.
To better serve his clients, Ed is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the North Carolina Association of Realtors, Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors, both residential and commercial.
He and his wife of 41 years have two children and 4 grandchildren. |  |
